Nominations for the 2023 Goodyear Highway Hero Award are now open! Nominate a CDL driver who went above and beyond the call of duty to help others on the road.

Depuis 1983, le programme Prix du héros de l’autoroute de Goodyear rend hommage aux conducteurs de camions professionnels qui ont agi avec désintéressement pour le bien des autres sur les autoroutes en Amérique du Nord. To commemorate this special year and Goodyear's 125th anniversary, Goodyear will select two winners from a wider pool of commercial drivers than ever before.

Now through 31 déc. 2023, Goodyear is inviting nominations for truckers with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) who went above and beyond the call of duty to help others on the road, regardless of whether in a long-haul truck, a dump truck, or certain regional delivery and vocational vehicles.

To be eligible for entry into the Goodyear Highway Hero Award pool of candidates, a nominee must meet the following criteria:



  • Must hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in their state of residence and operate a commercial, infrastructure or non-lifesaving emergency vehicle. Examples include commercial long-haul trucks, dump trucks, regional delivery vehicles or vocational vehicles
  • Nominee's commercial vehicle must have tires with rim diameter of 19-inches or more
  • Must permanently reside in the U.S. or Canada

  • Nominee must be on the job or on the way to and from work, and in his or her commercial vehicle, at the time of the incident
  • Incident must have happened between 1 janvier 2023, and 31 décembre 2023, to qualify for this year's program
  • All nominations must be received by 31 déc. 2023
